Taryn Kraimer Scher, President

Taryn Scher, president and founder of TK PR, has always been driven by a burning desire to excel in everything she does. After obtaining a BA in Journalism from the University of Maryland, Taryn moved to New York City with big aspirations. 

Taryn gained the necessary tools for success in the industry by serving as the in-house PR director for a luxury fashion house on 5th Avenue in Manhattan and experiencing the industry firsthand- from Fashion Week, to store openings and product launches. 

Upon moving to South Carolina in 2007, Taryn started TK PR, and within no time enlisted clients from coast to coast in the luxury lifestyle genre representing fashion, beauty, food, wine, travel and more. 

Taryn’s media achievements include articles and television features in US Airways Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, NPR, Fox Business News, O the Oprah Magazine, The Doctors, Men’s Journal, Real Simple, Time Magazine, People StyleWatch, Redbook and hundreds of others. Taryn's clients have also dressed musicians and celebrities from all over the world.

Taryn is a regular on WSPA’s Your Carolina morning show where she serves as a shopping expert and on WYFF where she hosts a monthly segment called "Schering Secrets". After styling the September 2009 fashion issue of G Magazine, Taryn was hired by G to produce the first ever Fashion Week in Greenville in October 2010. Taryn is the contributing fashion editor for TOWN magazine and is also on the board of Euphoria.

Taryn was most recently named South Carolina’s 2011 Small Business Administration Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
